On October 2025, the Kick-off meeting of the European RoboStellars project took place at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universita Politecnica Delle Marche in Ancona, Italy.
This meeting marked the start of an ambitious initiative aimed at empowering teachers and students to explore science and technology in a creative, inclusive and accessible way.
The meeting, led by the Universita Politecnica Delle Marche (project coordinator), brought together representatives from all partner organisations: MRC St. Paul's Bay Primary (Malta), ANcybernetics (Italy), Paragon Edu-tech (Greece), Agrupamento de Escolas Terras do Ave (Portugal) and Fundación Siglo22 (Spain), Casa di Torino - Istituto Suore Sant'Anna della Provvidenza (Italy) and Universität Leipzig (Germany).
The agenda was structured around the project's five work packages, each of which was presented and discussed in detail to ensure a shared understanding of their objectives and approach. This helped us to identify priorities, define key tasks, and assign responsibilities among the partners.
We also set up a clear timetable with deadlines for each work package, establishing a strong foundation for collaborative and coordinated work moving forward.
Beyond the working session, the meeting also included opportunities to strengthen ties between partners. The group visited the Universita Politecnica Delle Marche and enjoyed a social dinner that fostered a collaborative and friendly atmosphere.
With this first meeting, RoboStellars officially kicks off a project that, in the coming years, will combine astronomy, robotics, and programming to promote STEAM education.
